INTRODUCING FB750
The best solution to safeguard your structure and its contents from fire disasters!
FB750 Intubatt is a lightweight 4 hour fire barrier comprising of a rock mineral fibre board with a uniquely identifiable ablative coating, containing OptifireTM technology.
FB750 is designed to reinstate the fire performance of compartment walls and floors which have been breached by penetrating services. It provides a fire, smoke, thermal, acoustic and air pressure seal that works to compartmentalise the propagation of smoke and fire from one room to another.
FB750 works best when used in conjunction with the FS702 Intumastic (a fire rated acrylic sealant) for sealing around the following service types:
FB750 is easy to cut and simple to install. Suitable for all types of acoustic and smoke sealing.
The ablative coating contains OptifireTM, a unique traceability identifier for fast and easy detection.
Up to 4 hours fire resistance -
tested to EN 1366-3 and BS 476 (pt 20-22) standards.
Manufactured in the UK using Nullifire technology. We are the direct supplier for Nullifire products in Asia.
How do I install FB750 Intubatt?
Before installation, make sure that the opening is clean and free from dust and debris. FB750 Intubatt must be compressed and mounted on two or more opposing sides. If the opening does not allow the above to be done, mechanical support may be required.
Can I install FB750 without any sealants?
No, all perimeter edges, service abutments, joints or any de-laminations should be injected with a 10mm fillet of FS702 Intumastic.
How to repair damaged batts?
Examine the seal, ensure that the seal composition complies with Nullifire methodology. Repairs can be carried out by injecting FS702 Intumastic into the damaged area. Repairs to fire seals are usually required only when additional services have been added or existing services have been removed. Repair of a badly constructed or unstable primary seal is not recommended.
What is the density of the mineral wool for FB750 and what is the thickness of the firestop coating?
The density of the mineral wool for FB750 is 140kg/m3 (180kg/m3 is upon request) and the dry thickness of the coating is 1mm DFT.
